About me

About Me

I’m Danny.

I’m 15, and I’m in my sophomore year of high school (such joy). Expect occasional rants about class and homework and stuff.

I’m genderfluid, which means I use neutral pronouns–they/them. (If you ask me about “what I was born as”, what’s in my pants, or other transphobic stuff like that, don’t expect an answer. It–and you–won’t be tolerated.)

I’m also pansexual, so I’m probably going to talk about LGBTQ+ topics and issues a lot. (If you have a problem with it, there’s a helpful unfollow button you can click.)

I write (creative nonfiction, fiction, poetry) and draw, but not as much as I knit, crochet, and do other forms of crafting. Generally, I like working with my hands.

I also read way too much; I logged almost everything I read in 2014, and the total wordcount was over 46 million words. So. You see what I mean.

I live in Florida, which kind of sucks because it’s always hot here, but we’re close to Universal and a ton of beaches, so that kinda makes up for the climate.

Anything else? Shoot me a comment. I might not get back to you quickly (I’m not on this site much), but I will get back to you. Eventually.

A very nice blog. Like you, I am a Harry Potter fan. With Dan Rad being one year my senior, I really felt like I grew up with the magical series. Try to join Pottermore at http://www.pottermore.com. I was sorted as a Gryffindor, and had my own wand too! 🙂

Hi, so I just found your blog through AllAboutAmi’s blog directory, ’cause I was looking for people in my area. I took a look at your about page, and WOW. LIKE, WOW DUDE. I was pretty creeped out. I’m turning 14 in May, I watch too many shows to count (including superwholock) I have read the hp series three times and I have read like all of the other books you mentioned there. I have a crochet blog and a fandom one on tumblr. I also like to write really crappy stuff that I delete right after. Also I added you on Pottermore (hehe – SkullElm9019). I was creeped out because of all the similarities. Like, it’s uncanny. VERY UNCANNY. I just saw your recent post and I understand if you don’t want to respond to this, but know that this person on the other side of the computer cares, and also seeing how alike we are could be fun and keep your mind off things. Sorry about the really long post.

    • We are waaaaay too similar. Wooow 🙂 I’m 15 in August, I have added quite an impressive amount of shows to my repertoire since the last time I updated this page (SuperWhoLock, Merlin, Night Vale, SNK, Host Club, and a whole multitude of other things that would probably take up an entire paragraph, should I decide to list them here.) I have several Tumblrs (heh) and, obviously, a Pottermore 😀

As to your comment on my most recent post, I think I get what you’re trying to say. Thanks for your support. 🙂 (And don’t worry, it’s not nearly as long as some other comments I’ve gotten)

I watch Merlin too! Not snk though, it’s on my list. i do watch noragami and hetalia however. this is getting a little creepy. hm, what’s your favorite color? mine’s either violet or coral. and my favorite number is eight (not relevant at all, but whatever). i just want to experiment with this. it’s not everyday you meet someone who is from the same place as you, watches the same stuff as you, has the same hobbies as you, uses the same websites and reads all the same books. there should be like a study on this, it would be really interesting.

        • I watched Hetalia like twice, a few weeks ago. My favorite colors are dark purple (yeah I guess you could describe it as violet), grey, and green (like Slytherin green). My favorite numbers are 6 and 2, which, oddly enough, add up to 8… (oops)

No, you’re not Danny. You are a CUTE NERD. ❤ And apparently my subscription to your blog wasn't working, because I never got emails about your new posts. *cries* Well, I think I've fixed it now. I'm off to go read about your awesomeness.

    • Danny says:

Yes good, my goals have been reached.
Oh, by the way, I posted that Johanna fic! It’s here if you wanna go read it. I changed the ending a little bit, hopefully it reads better.

  12. After seeing your blog in a few places and realizing its awesomeness, I am now following! Btw I really freaking love your haircut. I recently cut about 4.5 inches off. My hair is really difficult so I want to do a really short thing like yours but I’m a little scared tbh. XD
Can’t wait to read more on your blog!

    • Danny says:

Thank youuu c: How long is your hair now, around shoulder length? I was scared of cutting mine too. It almost reached my butt when I cut it, actually, and I did it all at once so it was really terrifying tbh. I did it finals week, too, so everyone freaked out when they saw it. It was great lol. I’d suggest, if you want to do it really short like mine, get a really good idea of what you want and print out 3 or 4 (maybe even 5) ref pics to bring to the stylist so you know exactly what you want and how you want it when you go in. Certain tumblrs are really good for short hair refs. And, if you need an excuse, wait till it’s juuust long enough to donate and cut it all off for that. It’s a good way of actually sticking to the plan. (tbh I wimped out of cutting mine for about 6 months so I know the feel but now I have an undercut and it’s really awesome and all I want to do is go shorter and shorter now)
