Roonil Wazlib: Dark Wizard or Pollywog Trainer?

The title of this post is ‘Roonil Wazlib: Dark Wizard or Pollywog Trainer?’. If you’re a Harry Potter fan, you might recognize the words ‘Roonil Wazlib’ from somewhere. Fred and George once swapped out one of Ron’s quills for a joke quill, and when Ron went to write ‘Ronald Weasley’, it came out as ‘Roonil Wazlib’. I love magic. But anyway, I decided to make an edition of the Quibbler for an upcoming summer program at the Bloomingdale Regional Public Library in Valrico, Florida. It will be a Harry Potter program for grades 3 through 8, so if you think you want to go, the registration starts on May 1st. Google the library for more info.

So, one of the featured articles in my Quibbler is Roonil Wazlib. If you want to read the full story, click here.

Here is an excerpt. I hope you like it!

Who really is Roonil Wazlib? Is he a Dark Wizard affiliated with He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named? Or is he a talented and aspiring pollywog trainer? This reporter brings you the truth about Roonil Wazlib and who he really is.

Recently, Wazlib was seen in the Hogwarts dungeons (also known as the habitat of the elusive Greasy Git). When parents received news of this mysterious wizard, rumors ran rampant, most saying that Wazlib was in league with You-Know-Who. The parents feared Wazlib and suspected he was a threat to their children. They demanded that the Board of Governors remove Wazlib from the school property.

Thanks for reading this post. I’ll be posting some of my short stories on here soon.
