Make-it-Monday ~gumdrop bunny~

A gumdrop bunny is basically a gumdrop shaped thing with bunny ears. Like this.

It’s basically a gumdrop with ears. Feel free to adapt this pattern! I’d love it if you sent me a link to your adaptations.

You’ll need

  • DK yarn, any kind is fine. I used Bernat Baby Coordinates for this one.
  • a G hook

Ch 2. You will be working the first row in the second ch from your hook.

Rnd 1: 3 sc in first ch you made, ch 5, sl st back down the 5 ch, 3 sc, ch 5, sl st back down, place stitch marker. (6)

Rnd 2: 2 sc in ea stitch. Move stitch marker. (12)

Rnds 3-5: Sc in ea stitch around. (12)

Rnd 6: (in this row, work in back loop only) Invisible decrease all the way around, move stitch marker. (6)

Finish off, stuff, and sew the hole closed. You now have a gumdrop bunny! (I use these kind of bunnies for bunny drop-offs)

Crochet abbreviations.
