Make-it-Monday ~scribble drawing~

Yep. You heard me. A scribble drawing. Anyway, on with the tutorial!

You’ll need

  • paper
  • a pencil
  • either sharpened color pencils or fine-tip markers

First draw random scribbles on the paper. Have some lines cross others. I like to use a lot of loops and spirals. Do NOT lift your pencil from the paper. When you think you have enough lines going everywhere, end with the line going off a side of the paper. Like the picture.

Next, pick a color and color in one individual section of the paper. Like the picture.

See? Now just continue like that until either your hand falls off from all the coloring or you’re done. Then you can either cut out a rectangle from the middle and use it as a frame, or use it as scrapbook material.

I’ve done a couple of drawings like this before. It’s always a lot of fun, and ends us very colorful. 🙂 I’d never had any use for them afterwards, though. The frame idea is good–I think that I’ll try that next time.
