Make-it-Monday ~butterfly crochet pattern~

Pretty aren’t they? I got some barrettes and covered them with ribbon, then glued the butterflies to them. I will not be doing that again though, because I used embroidery floss to make them so small. Just yarn from now on. My poor eyes can’t take it any more. *fake-cries*

You’ll need

  • A G hook (normally what I use)
  • Yarn
  • scissors
  • this tutorial

Rnd 1: Ch 4. Sl st into first ch to form a ring.

Rnd 2: *Ch 4. 3tr (treble stitch) into ring. Ch 3, sl st into ring.* Repeat once.

Rnd 3: *Ch 3. 3dc into ring. Ch 3, sl st into ring.* Repeat once.

Fasten off. Create abdomen and antennae by looping yarn around the body a few times and then tying the two ends together.

Crochet abbreviations.

  1. Cute! I have to try this 😀

  2. So nice! I’m definitely going to give it a go.

  3. Hey I know this is off topic but I was wondering if you knew of any widgets I could add to my blog that automatically tweet my newest twitter updates. I’ve been looking for a plug-in like this for quite some time and was hoping maybe you would have some experience with something like this. Please let me know if you run into anything. I truly enjoy reading your blog and I look forward to your new updates.
